Disease of the cardiovascular system encompasses a wide range of pathology throughout the human body. The field of cardiology today has the availability of multiple different forms of cutting edge technology to aid in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease. It is my goal as a cardiologist to utilize these various technological advances as tools to assist in the medical decision-making process with my patients. Despite the technology that is available, however, I believe that nothing can replace the personal interaction between a patient and their physician that establishes a relationship from which the best and most informed medical decisions can be made.
